Annual “Back 2 School Community Backpack & School Supply Give Away.” Community support to this event has helped us provide school supplies to over 1700 children since 2020. Last year along with providing backpacks and school supplies to 500 students, 300 students also received 3 school uniform shirts with there school logo. We believe that having the school supplies needed to start the school year can truly be the beginning of a positive and productive school year for a child and take the pressure off a parent that might already be struggling.
The event will take place at our church location, 7408 West Judge Perez Drive, Arabi, LA, 70032, on July 18, 2026 from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be food and refreshment along with helpful information and resources to inform, assist and benefit families and youth where needed.
