LAdisABILITY Talk


LAdisABILITY Talk is changing formats.  What was once an on-line group list serve on Google is now a Facebook page.

What is LAdisABILITY Talk?  Is a Facebook Page where we can Talk Everyday All Day! LAdisABILITY Talk is an ongoing conversation between members. It is an open forum for asking and answering questions, exchanging ideas, sharing news, events and much more. We are Changing Lives, Every Day with this new, easier to use format.

Is it Private?  LAdisABILITY Talk is NOT private.  It’s an open page for others to join.  The administrators do have the ability to block people that misuse the page or make negative comments.

Who should join?  You, parents of a child with disabilities, self-advocates, professionals that work with individuals with disabilities, and individuals who advocate for people with disabilities in Louisiana.

Why should I join?

  • Followers participate at a time and place convenient to them.
  • Followers get the latest updates about meetings, training, resources, changes in state and federal laws and regulations, and opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • Followers receive reminders about events.
  • Followers can elect to share and learn from each other’s experiences.

Does it cost anything to follow LAdisABILITY Talk? No!
