This webinar will address how SSI eligibility criteria changes once a child reaches age 18. The participants will be informed of what is required in order to continue SSI benefits into adulthood.
Participants will learn how Social Security determines if the beneficiary is still considered disabled according to the adult definition of disability for Social Security benefits. Can the adult recipient work and receive benefits? Will the parent/guardian continue to receive the benefits for the beneficiary?
These questions and more about income, resources, and living arrangements will be answered in this webinar.
