The Big Picture: Expectations, Content, and Testing

IDEA 2004 mandates that all students with disabilities participate in statewide and districtwide testing “with appropriate accommodations and alternate assessments where necessary and as indicated in their respective individualized education programs. Participants will learn how to review their child’s IEP or 504 Plan and have a better understanding of the most commonly used accommodations. We’ll give you practical tips on who to communicate with at the school before state testing.
